Our People functions are split into two directorates - Adults Social Care and Children & Family Services.
Within the People directorates we deliver wide range of services to residents, these include adult social care, children's services, public health and education.
Our purpose is to ensure that everything we do safeguards the vulnerable, promotes learning and independence and improves health.
Adult Social Care and Public Health
The Adult Social Care service supports the wellbeing and independence of elderly and vulnerable adults. The Public Health and Wellbeing service supports residents to live healthy lives.
Children's Services
Children's Social Care and Education Services are dedicated to safeguarding children, supporting families, and ensuring access to quality education.
