Changing the way we work is one of the ways in which the Council will fulfil the objectives of Council Strategy 2023-27, respond to its financial challenges and make the best possible use of new technology.

The Transformation Team oversees projects which will transform the way in which West Berkshire Council delivers some of its services, realising benefits for our customers and making the way we operate more efficient.

This small team is proactive, collaborative and prides itself in making a difference. It includes a combination of qualified professionals such as project managers and business analysts as well as technical specialists and experienced change managers.

Customer Services

Our Customer Service is formed from a collection of teams including Communications, our Customer Contact Centre, Digital and Performance, Research and Risk.

 

Digital and ICT

Technology forms the basis of everything we do across the council and our ICT department is responsible for ensuring all 1500 of our staff remain connected through our networks.
