West Berkshire Council

Working in Care for West Berkshire

We'd like to welcome you to our team

We're always looking for new members to join our team delivering care to the residents of West Berkshire, whether that be in their own homes as part of our Reablement Service or in our Care Homes or Resource Centres.

We are looking for people who would like full time, part time or bank positions and who share our four key values:

  • Respect
  • Inclusion
  • Compassion
  • Empowerment

Take a look around the site to get a feel for what it's like to work with West Berkshire Council and whether it is right for you.

If you have any questions, or would like more information about the roles on offer or our four values, drop a line to recruitment@westberks.gov.uk or give us a call on 01635 503033.

Services we provide

We have four care homes (one with nursing), a reablement service and an adult placement shared lives service. These are all regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). This means they are routinely inspected and are monitored by the Commission.

We also have three Resource Centres that are not regulated by CQC, but operate to the same high standards present in our regulated services.
